Sinterklaas

Enclosed is information on a celebration here in the Netherlands called Sinterklaas. People around the world should know more about this and Holland, which is supposed to be so friendly and tolerant. A more accurate picture is one that shows the Dutch as the racist nation that introduced to the world language the word APARTHEID - apart as in racial separation. It is also the homeland of the Afrikaners or Dutch Boers, the forefathers of South Africa.

Because of its voracious nature and proclivity for stealing other people's countries and inhabitants, the black community here is at least 600,000 nationwide out of a total population of about 16 million. Blacks are concentrated in the big cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Haarlem. Yes, the town that Harlem, New York is named after.

Attached are some pictures so you know what we deal with in Holland. From about the 17th of November until the 5th of December, we are bombarded with Sinterklaas en zwarte Piet (Black Pete) "celebration". Yes, it is early, but I am getting ready, which is why I am informing you about all that goes on here under the surface of a tolerant society. Sinterklaas Pictures

I hope you can picture the situation and understand when I say we are bombarded with this on the radio, TV, street, shops, etc. For about four weeks, we are totally surrounded by it 24/7. Last year's Sinterklaas shopping grossed billions in Dutch guilders. Of course, business people fight against any modification of this disgusting stuff. Sinterklaas is specially aimed at little children. Parents cannot escape the pressure to buy kids something. This is no overreaction; we definitely need some action. I hope you can give me a little space in The DISH so the people who read your on-line mag can learn about the disturbing tradition of black Pete, Sinterklass and racism in Holland.

Genocidal Playbook Parallels

While there are similarities between the condition of black Africans and black Americans, the black South African history and present condition most closely parallel that of Native Americans. All three groups are relegated to the bottom of the social order. Their socioeconomic conditions are the results of colonialism, "manifest destiny," slavery, imperialism, or whatever one calls it when a brutish system creates a marginalized people. In the case of Native Americans, "manifest destiny" brought them to the brink of extinction. A similar fate seems to await native South Africans

The playbooks run on indigenous people of color by white Americans and Europeans are the same. Whites foment tribal conflicts to divide and conquer. Arming all sides, the hostilities lead to instability. Introducing diseases and drugs, they further cripple the society, so those natives armed conflicts do not immediately eliminate are maimed and/or otherwise neutralized.

In the case of the American natives, there was smallpox and alcohol, whereas, today's South Africans are victimized by AIDS and crack cocaine. In both situations, the results are the same--an increase in the body count, which allows white domination. Finally, each group was segregated into homelands, reservations or Bantustans. In America, most Native Americans live on reservations. The same is true today for black South Africans.

History allows one to compare and contrast. Jeremiah Chapter 34 prophesied that denial is a father's ultimate betrayal. T.H.I.N.C. (Teaching Humanity In New Consciousness): The Chrysalis of Evolution by Yohannes Sharriff Smith examines America's hypocritical mindset which forces children to make false choices. The double-think sham of freedom, justice and equality force children to accept their parents' lies. Reminiscent of Germany's transformation as Adolf Hitler rose to power, the Republican's magical "make over" under George W. Bush, Jr. evokes an eerie dread, because voters must choose between the lesser of two evils.

Comparatively, the West considered Hitler a benign loud mouth, at best, or a small time thug, at worse. He was dismissed like the lead in an overblown sideshow with a very bad plot. However, aligned with Germany's aristocracy, industrialists and politicians, Hitler became a snarling Wolf at the Door (Vol. 1 No 4) once in power.

The DISH presented caricatures of all candidates in Presidential Politics 2000 (Vol. 2 No 34). Cast as a "compassionate conservative," Bush hopes to mask his real intentions, as the National Socialist German Workers Party hid Hitler's Nazism. Rational people can agree, no one knew who or what Hitler would become. Conversely, considering his record, everyone knew Hitler was not who he pretended to be. Saying what Germans wanted to hear, Hitler mesmerized them by playing to their phobias, while disguising his racism and anti-Semitism behind patriotic symbols and slogans. Inclusively, Hitler pandered to group interests to divide and conquer but turned on them all after taking power.

Frightening similarities between Germany choosing Hitler based on emotional appeals and the Republicans selecting George W. Bush, Jr. pierce their benign facade. Americans are being asked to believe Bush has only the best intention and motives for what he is doing. While on the other hand, Jr.'s record shows his values permitted the worst possible outcomes for the poor and powerless. Myth (Vol. 2 No 26) contrasts the empty cup of "compassion" George Jr. served Carla Faye Tucker with the measure Jesus gave the woman at the well. Life's Lessons (Vol. 2 No 30) show GW's "changed heart" was like Lott's wife. German hypocrisy regarding Hitler's impact is comparable to American attitudes about Bush's drug use, alcohol abuse and his support for Confederate heritage and its legacy of racism.

When magicians perpetrate patently obvious frauds, they are attempting to obscure even more obvious truths. Waving his boyish charm, like a magic wand, George Jr. is hiding the portrait of A Family That Preys Together (Vol. 2 No 1) beneath a Crystal Dome (Vol. 2 No 34). A true caricature of smoke and mirror socioeconomic politics, Bush is trying to make the last thirty years of Republican politics disappear. His jazzed up Barry Goldwater Review only captivates narcoleptic Americans. Opening with the new millennium Nazi, George Jr. headlines as a high-tech Hitler with his finger on the nuclear trigger protecting corporate profits. "Mohammed did not inherit his father's herd!" John 2000

As a young family man, N.J. Ford ran a funeral home in the poor Riverside neighborhood of South Memphis. He and his children sported the lightest skin color in the depressed community. To punctuate their difference, his children were not allowed to play with their darker neighbors. N.J.'s children were better because they were lighter. His son, Harold, Sr., grew up to become the first "black" congressman from Tennessee; he was elected to represent a district that included this Riverside community. Over the years, the only things to prosper in the designated empowerment zone are a few churches and Ford's Funeral Home.

N.J. is the leper in the movie Braveheart. His son Harold, Sr., is Robert the Bruce, who betrays his own people by obeying the conniving advice of his father, the leper. Robert the Bruce helps maintain his people in bondage, just like Harold, Sr. In real life and the movies, the sons become their fathers, diseased overlords concerned only with personal riches, damn the people, even when they claim to speak to the people's condition.

Now, there is a Harold, Jr., who describes himself as a 'blue-dog" Democrat, a conservative. Like his father, he is a member of Congress, and the district he represents is one of the poorest black areas in the country. Braveheart is not for the faint of heart. The battle scenes are bloody. But, for a bit of art that delivers a powerful lesson in treachery and betrayal, Braveheart is the artistic ticket. For real life, check out the Ford family in Memphis.

Chief slave traders and colonizers mainly hailed from England, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. In addition to the slaves they brought to America via the Middle Passage, they took thousands of slaves and colonial subjects of color to Europe beginning in the fifteenth century. Mostly domestics, populations of descendants of slavery and colonialism topped 5 million before WWII, according to some estimates. Caught up in Hitler's drive for world domination, few reports are available to tell a story at least as gruesome as the Jewish Holocaust. Hitler's hatred of blacks is well documented but few records document what happened to slaves' descendants during Hitler's reign of terror. How many lives were lost? What happened to their property, art, gold and orphans? Their spirits demand the world remember they are a part of the current discussion about reparations. European nations must step forth and give an accounting of what happened to millions of European blacks from 1930 to 1948. A foreign policy focus group gathered to discuss the geopolitical significance of the southern African region found that South Africa's location and its mineral resources shape its socioeconomic and political condition. The country is an important link in the fuel lifeline of Western industrialized nations. Because South Africa is of such strategic importance, some wondered whether or not the man who emerged from prison to become the "new" South Africa's first black president was really Nelson Mandela.

Suppose the man who emerged from prison was not Nelson? Only Winnie, his wife, could discern a difference, but she was quickly dispatched from this life, after he left prison. Someone suggested his release was not about freeing his people to better their condition, just his own. After all, they reasoned, many blacks buy into the argument that only a few can live well at the expense of the masses. There is no common good, only the few nickels one amasses.

If Nelson is not real, it explains how the country remains a hostile environment for people of color. Conditions grew worse for the country's indigenous people. As long as South Africa avoids the payment of reparations, conditions will not change. In many ways, the black South African experience parallels the slave experience in America, though it most closely resembles the Native American's fate. South Africa took down the "black and white" signs just like America, but nothing else changed relatively speaking. Could Mandela have been another man coming out of prison? Anything is possible in a world where scripts that get media coverage are reality and conservatives control the world economy.

Conservative means defender of the status quo. American Presidential candidates Al Gore and George Bush, Jr. are both conservatives. These white men may claim otherwise, but both are committed to preserving the "traditional family values" of white supremacy and black inferiority found in the U.S. Constitution. The law benefits them, so one understands their resistance to change and their efforts to preserve their legal economic advantage.

Demonstrating his kind of conservatism, Bush went to Bob Jones University to reaffirm his commitment to "traditional family values." He promised to appoint judges to the courts that will strictly interpret the Constitution to conserve those values. Bush is George Wallace with a "changed heart" and different jargon. The Republican Convention's carnation of "Dubya" poses a clear and present danger for this nation's direction. If this resurgence of Nazism occurred in Europe, there would be an international outcry. Nazis are barred from high profile office. Yet, in America, Bush can seek the nation's highest office, and nothing is said.

Do not get me wrong! Gore is cut from the same cloth. While most folks tend to think of the "Contract with America" as a Republican document, Clinton/Gore embraced it and actively worked to turn back the clock on 30 years of social programs that only marginally benefitted African Americans. They put a few blacks in high profile positions to make their effort appear just the opposite. Of course, blacks fell for the hoax hook, line and sinker. Email: Ronsum ronsum@postoffice.pacbell.net "Nine Interstate Bakeries Corporation (IBC) black employees have been awarded $121 million in their employment discrimination lawsuit. IBC is the largest Wholesale Bakery in the USA with over 65 plants. The court found IBC guilty of discriminating against black employees in hiring, promotions and treatment. IBC denies it maintains a hostile work environment and promises to appeal.

This story made the financial pages of most major newspapers. However, nothing about it found its way into black media like BET. When this lawsuit started, I wrote and asked Johnson Publishing Co., the publishers of Ebony and Jet magazines, to please follow this court case and report on it to the people. Not only did they not reply, they ignored the story. And, Rev, Jesse Jackson was missing in action on trying to help IBC black employees get justice.

Some of the practices cited in northern California are currently happening at other plants. Black employees have been denied equal opportunity for job promotions, called by racial slurs and most recently one of the Black mechanics returned from break to find a hangman's noose on his tool pouch. Like all incidents involving racist acts, IBC will try to gloss over these incidences. And, it will continue to be business as usual. The sad part is most blacks in the plant are afraid to stand up and fight for their rights. When we asked them to help fight the discrimination, we received replies like " It's C.Y.A. around here man. (Cover Your Ass). Sad, very sad, but this is our state of affairs."

Back in Vol. 3 No 2, The DISH did a piece on the Atlanta Playbook, the one used by Billy Payne, head of the successful Atlanta 1996 Olympic bid team, and Andrew Young, former UN Ambassador and former Mayor of Atlanta. To secure their games, Utah's bid team used Atlanta's successful tactics. The unsavory practices cost several International Olympic Committee members their positions and could land Utah operatives in prison. Payne and Young are clean-- heroes of the '96 Olympics. There is not a hint of scandal. Atlanta won the games fair and square by out-bribing everyone else for IOC member votes, a perfectly legal and ethical Atlanta business practice.

Melissa Turner, (mturner@ajc.com) validated The DISH's analysis of the Atlanta playbook, though she calls it the "Atlanta Way" (8/7/00). Based on Willie Lynch's philosophy, Atlanta's Way is " an economic and political truce among the city's powerful blacks and whites. The primary tenet of this truce is the division of riches from the city's booming economy between the black political power structure and the white business establishment." This division leaves blacks mired in an inferior position.

"Black" leaders, like Andy Young, Maynard Jackson and Coretta Scott-King, benefit at the expense of the black masses trapped in the chasm of inequality. Even the mainstream media catalog the betrayal and duplicity of black conservatives working to maintain the status quo. Their betrayal is so devastating because The DISH has provided a complete analysis of the black condition. For the first time, we have a scientific argument on which to base our demands for reparations in the domestic and international arenas. Yet, American black "leaders" are silent on this scientific analysis. Now, why is that? If we are being led to freedom and equality, their silence is telling don't you THINC?

The Atlanta playbook keeps blacks in the chasm of inequality. Is the AJC' s motivation to expose a few 'black leaders,' like Maynard Jackson and Young to public scrutiny? Or, is it covering up for whites like Payne who made millions on the Olympic games? Either way, some black is screwed; that is the Atlanta playbook too. Disgruntled feels: The narrow-minded among us feel we can ignore history, wave our arms like magic wands and "poof" it is gone!

Disgruntled wants to know: Alan Keyes is a "conservative Republican." During the primary, he confused the US Constitution with the Declaration of Independence; whites cheered his ignorance. Has he learned the difference? Could that be the reason he was not allowed to speak at their Convention?

Disgruntled says: When every television station, radio news program and print medium run the same stories, a single mindset controls public information. People turn to the Internet, because they are sick and tired of that whitewashed narrow perspective.
