Mr. Kirksey is the founder of Big Brother Jr. Achievers; a youth group dedicated to building strong, intelligent, and productive citizens. This foundation draws its resources and expertise directly from the profit making apparatus of the corporation, volunteers from all areas of the community, and contributions from individuals and businesses recognizing the need for a positive impact on the problems confronting the human family. |

Lifeline Connections: |
|
|
|
An outreach communication program touching individuals who are incapacitated and residing rehabilitation homes, hospitals, senior citizen homes, incarceration facilities, etc. Family members and/ or friends provide names and addresses of community members in need of a humane response. Their names are placed on a correspondence mailing list and they receive information on a regular basis. Maintaining connections to one's community is an integral part of an individual's sense of belonging. For some, this will relieve feelings of isolation. |

Flowers While You Live: |
|
|
|
An outreach effort, which actually visits facilities housing the sick and shut-in. During these visits flowers, books, toilet articles, and other items are distributed to those requiring them. This diverse troupe of minstrels performs skits and interacts with patience and inmates. |

The Atlanta Vibe: |
|
|
|
A group of performing artists collaborating to make appearances in health maintenance facilities, senior citizens homes, city parks, local schools, lunchtime venues, and community functions. The program brings the aesthetics to areas normally not served by the arts.

Hand Up Institute: |
|
|
|
This program is design to bring young aspiring business hopefuls into an entrepreneurial setting as volunteers to train them as owners. The concept here is to develop an ownership mind set by allowing trainees to pursue their dream of self-employment from the outset. Trainees work for ICIM, Inc., as independent contractors. |

Asset Reclamation Project: |

A basic education program aimed at providing a safety net for students at risk of not obtaining a high school diploma by identifying and providing them with assistance early enough for them to acquire basic societal skills at the end of twelve years. For most, the high school diploma is a coveted prize, the first real test of one's ability to compete in the American market economy; it demonstrates mastery of basic skills. This project utilizes aesthetics to teach basic skills. Innovative, this concept accepts the students frame of reference and relevant expressions as the basis of communications, then shows the student how their expressions can be adapted to standard expectations. |

A.W.I.P. specializes in encounter groups, sensitivity training, and diversity recognition seminars. Aesthetics and creative involvement provides an innovative perspective. |

A newsletter designed to communicate the interests of the African American community. It offers advertising space, while disseminating a unique perspective on the historical socioeconomic and political problems this community faces. |

The Ujommo Invitational Creative Performance Challenge |

A performance venue that addresses the urgent need for young new-generation artists and performers to acquire skills, and develop their dreams as productive enterprises. The performance challenge is a program that provides access to audiences, and serves as a training resource for aspiring artists and performers. Such a vehicle marries the community's need to play a positive role in developing its young people with their need to develop community ties. Supporting this project fosters economic opportunities in a very depressed segment of an otherwise booming economy. |

National Clearinghouse for Reparations |
|
|
|
A growing number of African Americans are understandably interested in the pursuit of reparations for slavery. Groups all across the country are amassing information to push the cause. A clearinghouse provides a central focus point for the otherwise splintered efforts. The aim of the National Clearinghouse for Reparations is to formulate the case for presentation to the appropriate forum for adjudication. |
